Brad Renfro, the former teen idol who starred in films such as The Jacket and Deuces Wild was found dead in his L.A. apartment this morning. The cause of death is currently unknown and an autopsy is scheduled for Friday.
Born Bradley Barron Renfro in 1982 in Knoxville, Tennessee, he rose to fame when he was cast as the eldest son of Mary-Louise Parker in the hit drama The Client back in 1994. He quickly became one of Hollywood’s most sought-after child actors starring in films such as Apt Pupil, Sleepers, Tom and Huck and The Cure. Unfortunately, as he grew out of his childhood, Renfro got in trouble with the law once too many times on both drug and theft charges.
His last film The Informers with Winona Ryder and Billy Bob Thornton is due out this year.
