TYCP Magazine was created in February 1999. It originally started out as a fan site in 1998 about young celebrities and was called The Young Celebrity Page.
The idea for the magazine came about when Editor-In-Chief Sha Hartley saw that there were hardly any magazines [both online and offline] for young people. The magazines that were out did not have the content that she had in mind. Sha did her first interview that same month and the rest is history.
