TYCP Jobs

TYCP is the leading online entertainment magazine for young people. We have been online since 1999 and continue to grow. We have worked with many actors, actresses and artists. If you’re interested in working with us, you must meet the following requirements:

- You must be between 16-29 years old

- You must have some experience [please include your resume]

- You must not be working for another online magazine unless you are a freelance journalist

- You must be willing to travel around if you are interested in becoming an interviewer, photographer, videographer or event reviewer

- You must be willing to give up some of your time

- You must not expect to interview your ‘favorite celebrities’ all the time

Also remember that this is strictly voluntary, therefore, you do not get paid.

Jobs Available

Recapped Associate Editor
“Recapped” is a brand new feature on the magazine. If you’re a TV show addict, you might like this job. We’re looking for a good writer to give recaps on TV shows once every week.

Mainstream Associate Editor
Mainstream [formerly "Spotlight"] is a feature that has been in the magazine since the start. It is different from regular artist interviews as you would have to not only do a small interview, but also give some insight into their albums.

Basement Tunes Associate Editor
Basement Tunes [formerly called "Upcoming"] is a feature that has been on the magazine since the start. If you like interviewing unsigned artists, this job is for you.

Videographers
Videotape interviews and catch fun happenings backstage at concerts and award shows. We are currently looking for three videographers.

On Location
If you are one who makes trips to film/music video sets and have the ability to get exclusive information, this job is for you. We are looking for two people for this job.

Interviewers
Set up interviews with actors, actresses and artists [this also includes attending film premieres, award events and press junkets.] Having your own connections is a major plus. We are looking for five more two more interviewers.

Event/Concert Reviews
If you like attending concerts and award events, you may be interested in this. Connections are a plus. We are looking for three more people to review events they have attended. Photos may also be taken.

Album Reviews
Write reviews about different albums and soundtracks. We are looking for three more people.

Photographers — Take pictures at concerts, award events, press junkets, film premieres and more. We are currently looking for two more photographers. Connections are a major plus.
